Question:
Why can't I cancel my event a day or two without incuring cancellation fee's?
Answer:
Staff is scheduled, linens and food are ordered in days before your event.
Question:
Can I expect to feed more people than the final count that I have given?
Answer:
Your function is based on the count you've given. Linens, utencils, seats , staff are all based on that number. Unexpected increases can throw off the balance of not only the food, but , quality of service that you will be expecting.
Question:
What happens to the left over food at an event?
Answer:
A big question filled with emotion! In general, health departments will not let caterers give large amounts of food to customers or guests. Remember ,You were not paying to serve an amount of food … you are paying to feed a certain number of people. The caterer owns the food and always sends extra because they can't predict how much a particular group will consume at an event.
Question:
When should a client be expected to pay for their WEDDING OR BANQUET catering?
Answer:
In addition to a 200.00 deposit at time of booking, you will need to pay for your balance 4 DAYS before the event day.
Question:
How soon do you need the linen form filled out?
Answer:
We need to know by Wednesday, 10 days prior, because we must order by Thursday morning (9 days prior to your date, is the linen companies cut off for delivery for the following week.)
Question:
What is the earliest tablecloths will be down to put centerpieces on at a facility?
Answer:
Every facility is different. You will need to ask them their specific procedures.
As soon as the room is ready to be dressed, we will schedule it to meet everyone needs.
You will need to let us know when the site will have the room ready.
Question:
Will you provide all ice for our Bar?
Answer:
The charge is .35 per person for Ice delivery for a bar. Please remember to let us know if you would like us to handle that for you.
Question:
If Buffet, Will Bride and Groom be served or do they go through buffet line?
Answer:
No Head Table is always served.
Question:
Do we need to get utensils for Wedding cake?
Answer:
Yes (plastic plates, forks napkins)
You can bring it yourselves, or you can also order plastic ware or China from us if you choose, but you need to let us know.
Question:
Will your staff cut and serve cake?
Answer:
We cut it and put it back on the cake table for no charge.
Served Cake Service is 50.00 and is an option. China cake service is .25 per person.
Question:
What do I need to tell the Bartender?
Answer:
The bartender is your employee for that day. You will need to make a list of requirements and needs for him / her to do. Giving the bartender a schedule of how you want your beverages to be served or handled, any specialty drinks, recipes, champagne toasts ect…need to be handled on an instructions sheet. |
